The AHIBS-MCMC Accelerated Leadership Programme (ALPs), which embarked in October 2020, continues with its 1st Influential Leaders Talk (ILT). The ILT programme, which involved 39 MCMC high potential talents currently doing their MBA at AHIBS, took place on 11th January 2021, via Cisco Webex. The theme for the first series is Environment and Business Trends.
Prof. Dr Nur Naha Abu Mansor, the Dean of AHIBS and the project sponsor for the AHIBS-MCMC ALPs gave welcoming remarks to all the attendees.

The programme involved an interactive forum and a CEO-students’ engagement. For the forum, we have influential CEOs to exchange their ideas, views, and experiences to provide talents with experiential and innovative knowledge to become digital leaders.
Three renowned industry leaders were invited for this first forum series. They were Mr Julian Neo, Managing Director, DHL Express (M) Sdn. Bhd., Mr Azlan Baqee Abdullah, Group Chief Operating Officer, Amcorp Properties Bhd., and Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, Group Strategy Director, Malindo Air. Mr Md Tahir Musa, one of the MCMC talents moderated the forum session. The forum topic is titled “Post-COVID Pandemic, Effect to Business Trend and Stimulation of Digital Economic Growth”.

Following the forum session, the students adjourned into three different break-out rooms with a designated CEO. Each room consisted of 10-15 talents and moderated by a group representative. The moderators were Mr Allah Ditha Khan Abdul Rim, Ms Dayang Aidah Awang Piut and Mr Faizul Azlee Mahat. The students had an interactive engagement in exchanging their views on digital leadership matters.
This event has exposed the students to many challenges and best practices in managing organizations. It also signifies a strong commitment between AHIBS and its industry partners in nurturing future digital leaders through its MBA programme. The ALPs is one of AHIBS major projects that offers a global standard of MBA programme with extensive industry collaborations and award-winning MBA curriculum. This project was led by Dr Mahadi Bahari and included Dr Halina Mohamed Dahlan, Dr Suraya Miskon, Dr Norasnita Ahmad, and Dr Nazimah Hussin.
