UTM XCITE IDEATION CHALLENGE 2020 Exposes Students Innovative Talents

During the Movement Control Order (MCO), the Centre for Student Innovation & Technology Entrepreneurship (UTMXICTE) took the initiative to organize UTMXCITE IDEATION CHALLENGE 2020 (XIC 2020), a program to encourage UTM students to generate ideas that could assists in combating COVID-19. The objective of this competition is to provide opportunities for UTM students to express their innovative ideas through 2 minutes videos regarding COVID-19 based on different view of knowledge such engineering, science, education or business aspects based on their learning in UTM.

AHIBS Action Research Challenge 2020

AHIBS Action Research Challenge 2020 (AARC2020) as an interdisciplinary platform for students, academics and industry partners to present and discuss their latest innovations, trends, issues, and challenges facing by industries.

Exposing Student to Industry Experience Through Design Competition and Experience Talk

This article is about a Smart Home Organizer Design Competition, a collaborative project between the Bachelor of Science (Industrial Design) program under the RFTI UTM and the furniture design industry. The competition is part of the design project for SRSD2024 (Product Design 2) subject. The program also involved an experience talk session by Executive Director of Infinite Flexible PLT, Mr. Woo Han Sian who is also the alumni from the same program.

LDP UTM XCITE’s Coffee Talk ☕: #-!

Semester 2 of 2019/2020 saw the initiation of Leader-prenuership UTM XCITE (LDP UTMXCITE), an association completely ran by a group of students from UTMXCITE, to catalyse innovation and accelerate learning among the students through workshops, mentorship and experience sharing from either UTM students or alumni.
