UTM Talent Transformation Centre (TTC) and Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FBES) have collaborated in assigning Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying students from different programs to UTM Talent Transformation Centre to be involved in main corridor and external spaces design competition. UTM Talent Transformation Center has allocated RM4,500 for the winning prizes and printing purposes for the students. This competition was one of the synergy initiatives by the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying in promoting collaborative projects and activities among the staff and students.
A number of staff from different departments were the secretariat and juries for this competition. Series of presentation and crit sessions were held in order to review students’ work and to inculcate team work among the students. The students also have the opportunities to obtain feedbacks from UTM Talent Transformation Center of their initial design ideas. The final presentations to the client were held on 2nd January 2019 where the award prizes for the winning design was handed over during the final judging that was attended by UTM Registrar and other UTM Talent Transformation Center management team. The selected design for the new improvement and image of UTM Talent Transformation Center will be used in future planning and development.
