KUALA LUMPUR, 1 Oct. – Delegations from Northwest A&F University, China visited Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur campus, today.
The university was represented by its Deputy Dean, College of Continuous Education, Mr. Zhao Suolao, Section Chief, Mr. Shi Wen Hua, Program Officer, Mr. Wang Qiang, Party Affairs, Mr. Li Hong and Secretary from International Office, Mrs. Duan Yuqin.
Their arrival was greeted by the Associate Director of UTM International Kuala Lumpur (UTMiKL); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abd Rahman Abdul Rahim and also present from UTM were from UTM SPACE, Mr. Elvin Tan, Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) representative, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norhayati Abdullah and Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics representative, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Zairah Ab Rahim.
Among the topics discussed were student mobility, summer school program, student exchange, and possible collaboration with UTM SPACE on professional and continuing education, staff attachment and invitation for teaching.
MJIIT, UTM SPACE and Razak Faculty were asked to take up the initial collaboration with Northwest A&F University, China. In the event of active collaboration between the two universities, UTMiKL will propose to sign a Letter of Cooperation (LoC).
