As part of UTM Transnational National Education (TNE) initiative, 12 August 2018 marks the launching of the first UTM Franchise campus abroad. The Qaiwan University-UTM Franchise located at Slemani City of Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

QU is offering four programs within three faculties School of Computing, Azman Hashim International Business School and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The four programs are :
· Bachelor of Computer Science (Software Engineering)
· Bachelor of Computer Science (Computer Network and Security)
· Bachelor of Management (Management Technology)
· Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Development)
