The UTM Student Entrepreneur Policy is a policy that has been specifically outlined by the UTM Technology Entrepreneurship Centre (UTMTEC) as a guide for integrated standardisation and supervision of UTM student entrepreneurial activities. This is part of a concerted effort to consolidate a holistic tradition of entrepreneurship in the university. The policy, which applies to all students that have registered full time at undergraduate or postgraduate level as well as alumni who have graduated for not more than 2 years, stresses on the effort to instil, guide, and produce students that have an entrepreneurial mindset. The policy is also intended to increase entrepreneurial competencies towards the formation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem in UTM.
