Kuala Lumpur, March 2, 2016 – UTM Kuala Lumpur received a delegation from Al-Neelain University, Khartoum, Sudan.

The delegation from Al-Neelain University was keen to find out more about the online services and online learning offered in UTM. They were also interested to find out about the accessibility and quality of these online systems, and how the systems contribute towards maximizing the UTM’s productivity and performance.

Based on the knowledge sharing session, it was agreed that ‘remote supervision’ in academic matters via online, can be worked out between UTM and Al-Neelain University. The discussion also touched on the issues of lecturer exchange and training programs, student exchange programs, curriculum development review, double degree programs and the possibility of joint research and publications.

UTM looks forward to working together with Al-Neelain University and hopes the visit can lead to strategic collaborations.
