Professor Nordin Yahaya conferred the Amity Global Academic Excellence Award

JOHOR BAHRU, 10 February 2017 – Pro Vice Chancellor Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM International), Professor  Dr Nordin Yahaya has been conferred the Amity Global Academic Excellence Award at the 17th International Business Conference – INBUSH ERA World Summit 2017, at main Amity University campus, Noida in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Prof Dr Gurinder Singh Group Vice Chancellor Amity University said, the award is to recognize his most valuable contribution in field of academics for driving UTM to greater heights through his expert guidance, keen involvement and strategic approach.

“He was chosen based on the opinion of the leading academicians, public perception, international initiatives and strong academic values through which he has nurtured UTM in the last few years.

“Professor Nordin is also invited to become an esteemed member of Amity University International Advisory Board and the Editorial Board for Annual Research Journal, both of which have representations from prestigious academes across the world,” he said.

He was also invited to deliver his speech during the Inaugural session of the conference to share his ideas with over 500 participants including ambassadors and high commissioners, Vice Chancellors, deans and directors from reputed national and international universities, noted academicians, high profile media personalities, corporate leaders and students from almost 115 countries.

Other notable recipients of the award are the Vice Chancellors of the University of Brunel London, University of Northampton UK, the President of Del Rosario University, Colombia and Deputy President of Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan.
