JOHOR BAHRU 6 September 2015 – Fuel cell and hydrogen technology have gained much interest in recent years and have great potential in addressing Malaysia’s energy security and energy diversification policy. The conference is organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) Indonesia.
For three days, the organizers will bring together experts from academia and industry players to address issues related to challenges and prospects of these technologies. More than 150 researchers and scholars will convene in Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel and Residences on September 1-3, 2015.
The conference will feature plenary presentations by renowned experts in hydrogen storage and fuel cell technologies, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Arlt of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, Prof. Dr. Eric Croiset of University of Waterloo, Canada, Prof. Dato’ Ir. Dr. Wan Ramli Wan Daud of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Prof Dr. Mohamed Bououdina of University of Bahrain. Hydrogenics which is one of the leading companies in fuel cell technology will be presented by Mr. Alan Kneisz.
