Prof. Dr. Khairul Anuar Kassim and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamarudin Ahmad from the Faculty of Civil Engineering have been awarded with the Telford Premium Award at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) United Kingdom by the President of ICE Richard Coackley on 12th of October 2012. The award conferred for their contribution in Civil Engineering discipline through outstanding research paper entitled “Electro-kinetic Treatment on a Tropical Residual Soil”.
