This trip was a valuable opportunity for students to witness how theoretical knowledge is translated into practical solutions. It opened their minds to the technological advancements at FOZ One and reinforced the importance of sustainable engineering practices. The students left with a deeper appreciation of the responsibilities of electrical engineers and the impact they can have on society.

Najwa Afiffah Mohd Fauzi, one of the student expressed that, “The visit showed the technological advancements in the electrical engineering sector, including automation systems which is my interest. I was inspired to learn more and keep up with industry trends after witnessing these technologies in use”. She learnt through exploring the new technologies available at the industry.

On the other hand, Muhammad Firdaus Mazlan says “I got ideas for new projects from the visit. I was motivated to investigate more projects involving monitoring and management after observing, for example, the significance of electronics in developing an embedded system into the vacuum machine for a more reliable product development and the networks in monitoring industrial equipment and stock in the parts management.”

This is the importance key to ensure success by having an interdisciplinary collaboration of specialties and needs. Not only that, most of the students were very thrilled to get to know the real world industry, e.g. Humam Dawarh says, “It was quit insightful visit and it was very exciting to see how does the manufacturing world is working and get in depth with different manufacturing processes.
