Global Outreach Program: Real Estate Students Visit to Hanyang University and Sung Kyun Kwan University, Seoul, South Korea

SEOUL, 29 Feb. –  A group of 14 students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) participated in an academic visit to South Korea as part of their Global Outreach Program (GOP). The program aims to facilitate academic exchanges between the delegation and two prestigious institutions.Hanyang University (HYU) & Sung Kyun Kwan University (SKKU).

The program involved 9 Bachelor of Real Estate students, 3 Bachelor of Science in Land Administration and Development students, and 2 Doctor of Philosophy candidates from the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU). The program highlights UTM’s commitment to providing international exposure for students and scholarly engagement.

This experience not only offers participants a unique opportunity to broaden their academic perspective but also allows for meaningful interactions and knowledge sharing with students from South Korean universities.

Guiding the delegation are the program advisors and real estate lecturers, Dr. Fitriyah Razali and Dr. Hariati Abdullah Hashim from FABU.

We are grateful to Ms. Nur Ain Salsabila and Mr. Muhamad Zaim from the Malaysian Students’ Association in Korea for their invaluable support and guidance throughout the expedition.

The visit to HYU’s Graduate School of Convergence Real Estate allows UTM students to gain exposure to the academic landscape of real estate in South Korea. This visit provides a valuable platform for academic exchange between students and faculty members from both institutions.

The Global Outreach Program participants have a unique opportunity to explore the renowned Samsung Library situated at SKKU, a hub of academic excellence and innovation in South Korea. The visit to the Samsung Library at SKKU enriches the students’ educational experience, providing them with valuable resources, facilities, and opportunities for intellectual growth. Through this program, UTM Real Estate students obtain a transformative journey for academic exchange and international exposure and broaden their future international opportunities for higher education.
