Many methods and platforms are available to organise conferences, symposiums, talks and other virtual events, especially, in this era of the post-COVID-19 pandemic. Some are synchronous and others are asynchronous.
UTM Ocean Thermal Energy Centre (UTM OTEC) is very grateful to Prof. Dr. Yasuyuki Ikegami, Prof. Dr. Tsutomu Nakaoka, Assistant Prof. Dr. Takeshi Yasunaga and Institute of Ocean Energy, Saga University (IOES) for acknowledging UTM OTEC and its efforts in strengthening collaboration.
Together in thoughts and ideas, UTM OTEC and IOES can definitely make SATREPS OTEC project funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia (MoHE), become successful. The joint paper was presented at the 24th Deep Ocean Water Applications Society (DOWAS) Conference 2020. Sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Yasuyuki Ikegami, the Director of IOES and his team.
