Commencing today, April 11, 2016 to April 14, 2016, the UTM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid Omar, will be attending the International Presidential Forum on Global Research Universities held in Seoul, South Korea. The conference, organized by the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) focuses on the theme of “Social Responsibility of Higher Education & Strategic Global Partnership”. Dr. Wahid Omar is scheduled to deliver a presentation titled “Brainpower of the Nation and Innovation Powerhouse – the Case of UTM”. During the visit to Korea, he will also be making a courtesy call to the President of Sungkyunkwan University, Dr. Chung Sang Kyu.
