JOHOR BAHRU, 3 July – A briefing session on the role of the Office of Corporate Affairs (HEK) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia was held at the Senate Hall, Sultan Ibrahim Chancellery Building.
The briefing was chaired by the Director of Corporate Affairs, Prof. Dr. Masputeriah Hamzah. Also in attendance were the Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs (Digital Media), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Azman Ismail and the Deputy Director of Corporate Affairs (Corporate Communications and Branding), Dr. Azian Abd. Aziz.
Deputy Registrar, Norizan Salleh said the aim of this briefing was to explain the role of HEK to all UTM Centers of Responsibility (PTJs).
“We found that many PTJs are unaware of the role of HEK, resulting in misunderstandings when dealing with us.”
“In view of this, we took the initiative to call all PTJs in UTM to provide an explanation of the job scope of each unit in HEK,” she said.
It is hoped that through this session, the level of awareness of the respective PTJs in UTM towards the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of HEK will be enhanced, thereby generating better collaboration.
