The trip started at the Penang Botanical Garden, where the students were introduced to Malaysia’s lush tropical flora. The gardens provided a peaceful setting for the group to relax and appreciate the region’s natural beauty. Afterwards, they visited Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), one of the top research universities in Malaysia, to gain insights into the country’s higher education landscape.

In the afternoon, the group explored Padang Kota Lama, a historic site that vividly showcases Penang’s colonial past. The day concluded with a lively evening at Batu Ferringhi Night Market, where students indulged in local street food and shopped for traditional crafts. The night market offered a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and flavors, making it a highlight of the first day.

On the second day, the students ascended Penang Hill and enjoyed panoramic views of the island and the mainland. The cooler climate and breathtaking vistas provided a refreshing contrast to the urban hustle below. Following this, the group visited Pulau Aman, a small island renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and traditional fishing village charm. Here, they experienced a slice of rural Malaysian life, far removed from the bustling cityscapes.
