During Eid al-Adha celebration on 31 July 2020, UTM International had distributed 700 packaged food (Arab food) to all students who are staying in UTM hostels including KLG Residence.

Staying far from family can be tough especially during this difficult time, i.e. COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, UTM International had decided to support students by providing packaged food in the hope that it can cheer them during this meaningful of Eid al Adha celebration.

Previously, students on campus were invited to the Sultan of Johor palace or got the chance to celebrate Eid together with UTM Chancellor but this time, only packaged food distribution was given to them due to the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).

The food distribution started from 12 pm until 1 pm with the help of International Student Society (ISS) representatives from each college.
