On 12 December 2018, two lecturers from AHIBS UTM KL were awarded Special Award for case presentation in ICSC, 2018 conference held at TH Hotel  Convention Centre, Alor Setar, Malaysia from 11 to 12 December, 2018 and was attended by local and international participants around ASEAN region.

The case entitled “Swimming48: A Tattle Tale of the Organizational Chaos” was written by Associate Professor Dr Farzana Quoquab and Dr Jihad Mohammad. This case highlights the challenges pertaining to organizational chaos in an organization among its employees. Lesson learned from this case is how miscommunication and internal chaos can lead to less productivity at the workplace.

Dr Farzana and Dr Jihad have been working on writing teaching cases since 2010. Such cases provide real life examples in order to facilitate classroom learning. In addition to this significant contribution in upholding the local case writing movement, they have also published two case books and 16 local cases.
