KUALA LUMPUR, 7 July 2018- A third-year architectural student of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), David Nee Zhi Kang won a Bronze Medal awarded by the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) Student Awards 2018 for LAM Part 1.

The award was given at DATUM 2018 (Architectural Conference) as part of the ongoing KLAF2018 (Kuala Lumpur Art Festival) event.

The PAM Student Awards is open to all Malaysian PAM Student Members who have completed an architecture course in the preceding year or who will be completing an architecture course in the present year studying both locally or abroad.

The objective of the award is to demonstrate PAM and the benefactor’s commitments to architecture design excellence by recognizing students’ outstanding achievements in architectural design and to introduce final year students to the profession and the industry.

The selection board has identified 4 Award Finalists. The winner of the Bronze Medal took home prizes and Travel Grant valued at RM 8,000 and a certificate. Other finalists took home prize money of RM 2,000 and a certificate each.
