JOHOR BAHRU, 30 August 2016 – The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail was listed as one of the Most Cited Researchers for Chemical Engineering Subject of 2016 by Shanghai Global Rankings of Academic Subjects.
Besides Prof. Fauzi, two other researchers from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Hanafi Ismail and Bassin H. Hameed were also listed Most Cited Researchers in the field of Chemical Engineering subjects of 2016.
The Shanghai Ranking Consultancy is a fully independent organization dedicated to research on higher education intelligence and consultation. It has been the official publisher of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) since 2009.
The ARWU International Advisory Board was established in November 2011 to provide its team with global and academic perspectives on the current practice and future projects of ARWU.
