PUTRAJAYA, 3 December 2015 – UTM has received two Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) innovation awards at the 2015 MOHE Innovation Celebration Day. The award was presented by the Hon. Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang, the Secretary General of MOHE. UTM was represented by Dr. Mohd. Shahizan bin Othman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahida binti Sulaiman and Pn. Siti Rashidah.

The Student Profiling Management System (S3P) developed by the Center for Information and Communication Technology (CICT) and the School of Graduate Studies (SPS) was awarded third place for Innovation under the University Management System category. Meanwhile, the English Language Interest and Confidence Program (MyBI) championed by the Centre for Community and Industry Network (CCIN) won the third place under the Social Innovation Award. Both winners received a cash prize worth RM2,000 and a certificate of appreciation, respectively.
