28 April 2015 – UTM Former Don, who is currently UTM Senior Visiting Professor, Prof. Dato’ Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang was recently invited as a guest speaker at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The talk entitled “Five Paradigm Shifts for Water Sustainability: A Proposition for Tropical Regions,” was held on 28 April 2015.
Zaini Ujang has a noteworthy affiliation with University Teknologi Malaysia. As an academician at UTM, he made significant contributions in the field of environmental management and technology, particularly water and wastewater treatment, sustainable resource strategies and industrial ecology.
While helming UTM as the fifth Vice-Chancellor (2008-2013), he displayed exceptional leadership skills and was responsible for a number of UTM transformational initiatives. UTM is indeed fortunate to be affiliated with someone of Dato Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang’s calibre!!
