Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Visits President Nagata

June 3, 2013 – Professor Dato’ Seri Zaini Ujang, Vice Chancellor/President of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, UTM, and his delegates visited the University of Tsukuba to make a courtesy visit to President Kyosuke Nagata.
UTM and Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, the University of Tsukuba have promoted a multi-level collaboration such as exchange of students and faculty members from UTM and Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, MJIIT, which was established in the UTM KL International Campus, since the conclusion of the MOU in November 2012. The visit by Vice Chancellor Professor Dato’ Seri Zaini Ujang to Tsukuba this time was realized for the purpose of discussing further concrete collaboration opportunities between the two universities, as a result of the visit of Provost Yoshihiro Shiraiwa to UTM in February 2013 to discuss general picture of possible collaboration schemes between UTM and UT. The visitors from UTM to UT are total 10 respected board of directors and professors headed by Professor Dato’ Seri Zaini Ujang and including Dato’ Abu Bakar Mohd Nor, the UTM board of directors, Professor Megat Johari, Dean of MJIIT, Professor Takashi Yamamoto, Vice Dean of MJIIT, Professor Zuriati Zakaria, Head of the Environmental Green Technology Department, Professor Nooh Abu Bakar, Head of the Management of Technology Department, and Professor Amin Abu, Heald of the Mechanical Precision Engineering Department.  More…
