JOHOR BAHRU, 23 October 2015 – Being disabled (OKU) is not an obstacle for a person to achieve success in any field of endeavor, as long as the person thinks positive.

“There are many facilities available for the disabled in UTM. For instance, the faculty provided a special chair for me in the classroom, while the library is also set up with special lanes to facilitate  disabled people’s mobility.
“Friends, classmates and lecturers have also been  very supportive. I am very proud to be a student of UTM and will continue to be linked with UTM even after my graduation, “he said.
Lee also did not rule out UTM’s status as a Research University (RU) has helped him to succeed in his studies.
“The Research University status has actually helped me in my studies. As you know, the biological subjects I took entails that I spend time in the lab experimenting. The RU status enables UTM to enjoy many facilities for research and laboratory grants, which has resulted in a vibrant teaching and learning environment,” he said.
The Kluang born eldest of two siblings was not planning to continue his studies but instead chose to seek employment to enhance his experience.
“For now, let me find a job  and find as much experience as possible for the benefit of mu family’s future,” he said.
