JOHOR BAHRU, 27 August 2015 – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in collaboration with Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, Pakistan (AWKUM) has organized the 3rd International Conference on Computational and Social Science (ICCSS -2015).
The 3-day conference was held at the Faculty of Bio-Medical Engineering (FBME) commencing 25th August 2015.
Hazidatul Akma Hamlan, an organizing committee member of ICCSS-2915, said that 4 parallel workshops on Qualitative Research, Referencing & Parallel Computing Software for Research, Wolfram Mathematical Knowledgebase and Ibn Sina Medicine, Metabolism and Health, were held on 26 August 2015.
“More than 50 students from around the globe participated in this workshop, with 20 paper presentation sessions.
“The organizer received a total of 389 papers from 28  countries with 200 papers accepted. Of these, 110 papers were accepted for publication in ISI, SCOPUS, INDEX and NON-INDEX journals,” she said.
The conference focused on 4 research tracks, namely, Computer Science and Information Technology (Track 1), Mathematics and Applications (Tracks 2), Social Sciences and Islamic Research(Track 3) and Computational Life Sciences and BioMedical Engine (Track 4).
