KUALA LUMPUR, 2 February 2017 – The QS-Bina Society in collaboration with Department of Quantity Surveying, Faculty of Built Environment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (FABUTM) has organized the Second QS Bina Alumni Reunion (QASIH) 2016 reception, Dicember last year.

The reception that was held at Menara Razak UTM Kuala Lumpur was attended by 90 guests consisting of former UTM Quantity Surveying students from all over Malaysia. The event was officiated by UTM Alumni Senior Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Ibrahim Mohamad.

The event provided an opportunity for the current UTM students and FAB to network with some of its alumni. Invited guests included individuals from industry, government agencies and contractors.

Apart from the reception event, three QS Bina alumni namely Dato’ Sr Ahmad Zainuddin Jamaluddin (KTMB Board of Director), Dato’ Sr. Abdullah Che Mat (Managing Director, Johawaki Construction Sdn Bhd) and Prof. Sr Dr Abd Ghani Khalid (UTM Professor) were invited to give special lectures in the CPD Seminar event.

Alumni heard knowledge sharing from Dato’ Sr Ahmad Zainuddin bin Jamaluddin (KTMB Board of Director), Dato’ Sr. Abdullah bin Che Mat (Managing Director, Johawaki Construction Sdn Bhd) and Prof. Sr Dr Abd Ghani Khalid (UTM Professor).

The event was moderated by Prof. Sr. Dr. Wan Maimun Wan Abdullah (UTM Adjunct Professor).
